WEYMOUTH manager Mark Molesley admitted that ‘not much is falling into place’ for the Terras at the minute, as he faced the disappointment of tonight’s postponed clash at Hendon in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier South.

The match was postponed about 45 minutes prior to kick-off due to the snowfall in north London.

Molesley said: “It’s not ideal, we have all made the journey up we are standing there all pitch side, all wanting a game. We wanted to react quickly to Saturday’s disappointment of a draw and we can’t quite get that rub of the green.

“Not too much is falling into place for us at the moment.”

Pointing out that snow is the one weather condition that could have prevented play on their 3G pitch, Molesley remarked that it typifies the run the Terras are on at the moment.

Molesley said: “It is what it is, it is no one’s fault, it is only snow that could stop a game being on a 3G pitch and it just typifies the run we are on at the moment.”

Weymouth were without at least five, with Callum Buckley, Tiago Sa and Sam Sherring having taken knocks to join long-term absentees Josh McQuoid and Warren Bentley, and Molesley is glad for the chance to rest.

Molesley said: “We might be able to rest a few bodies, we were missing quite a few at the moment, we have been quite unlucky with injuries we had quite a few out.

“Another couple of days rest will hopefully see a few people get back in contention for Saturday.

“We are behind on our games but the only positive is that we have got a few players to get back fit. Josh McQuoid had his first jog the other day for the first time.”

It also means the Terras miss a chance to make up games in hand, but Molesley is not too concerned, as he said: “If the games start to back up March and April are quite open at the moment in midweek. It is not that we are trying to cram in three games a week at the end of the season, we are not that bad yet.”
