The Terras face an old friend on Tuesday night as Mark Molesley’s men travel to Arbour Park to take on Slough Town. The Terras have clashed with Slough on many occasions over recent years in the Southern League, both sides now face each other in a league up, in the National League South. There have been many battles with the Rebels over the years, tomorrow promises to be another one.

What a start to the season it has been, an opening day away win, a home draw and a home win giving the Terras seven points from nine available against three very fancied teams. A 4-1 win against Chelmsford City on Saturday has got to be the highlight so far. A lot of people said different things about the Terras at the start of the season. Early predictions can be a dangerous thing one way or the other.

Tomorrow’s hosts have started the season with three defeats but they have had terrible injury luck. Make no mistake about it, Slough will be a difficult test for the team and our lads will know that. Having said that, they don’t seem to fear anyone and they will be full of confidence as they make the trip up the M3.

Terras Full Squad: Ward, Childs, Rees, Wells, Harfield, Zubar, Buckley, Olumuyiwa, Brooks, Rose, Wakefield, Ngalo, McCarthy, Baggie, Murray, Odubade, Robinson, Hoey, Thomson, McQuoid, Williams

Thoughts from the gaffer

“The importance of the squad I’ve talked about before. The games come thick and fast and Tuesday at Slough will be another challenge but as ever it’s one we look forward to.”
