Match Preview
The Terras take on Havant & Waterlooville at Westleigh Park as the play-off and promotion race heats up in the Vanarama National League South tonight.
It’s six unbeaten coming into this crunch game for Weymouth. They were forced to battle to a 1-1 draw away at Braintree on Saturday. Havant also picked up a draw on the road, a goalless stalemate at Concord Rangers.
In fact, a harsh 1-0 defeat to Havant on New Year’s Day is Weymouth’s last defeat. Mark Molesley’s team will be coming into this game with confidence and they may well be looking to gain some revenge on the Hawks after a tight game on January 1st.
This game could well go a long way to shape up what happens at the end of the season, however regardless of the result, ultimately nothing is won or lost at the start of February.
Thoughts from the Manager
“We have more than enough quality in the squad, we have proved that this season whenever we have had injuries. This game needs no introduction with the positions in the league and Havant need no introduction with the quality they have.”
