DEADLINE day signing Jaidon Anthony is hoping he can help Weymouth continue pushing up the National League South table.
The 20-year-old is yet to feature for the Terras since joining Mark Molesley’s men due to an ankle injury, but the former Arsenal and Cherries academy player says he is excited by this opportunity.
He said: “It’s really exciting for me, it’s my first loan move so hopefully I can use this to keep on improving as a player.
“I’m a creative player, I like to score goals and create chances and hopefully I can bring that to the side.
“I have received a lot of nice messages from the Weymouth fans so hopefully I can bring them some happiness on the pitch.”
Anthony revealed it was his relationship with Molesley at Bournemouth that convinced him this loan move would work.
“I worked with Moles for a long time when he worked with me at Bournemouth so he knows a lot about me.”
