BRIAN Stock was full of praise for his side, despite losing 3-2 to Dagenham on Tuesday Night.
The Terras manager said “I can’t expect anymore from the players, they gave absolutely everything today.”
The Terras started the game well, going 1-0 ahead thanks to a goal from Josh McQuoid. Stock said “In the first half, we dominated with the ball, passed and moved it very well, and took the game to Dagenham.”
However, their lead was overturned as the Daggers struck twice within a minute to go 2-1 ahead.
Stock said: “The biggest disappointment [of the game] is the 5 minutes in the game where we conceded the 2 goals.”
Josh Wakefield was sent off just before half time for a straight red card on Darren McQueen. “In today’s game, Josh Wakefield will feel like he should stay on his feet.”
The Terras then went 2 goals down, after conceding a penalty. Stock praised the resilience of his side in reacting to this. “We went 3-1 down, and you look at characters, the leaders, in this young side- we kept going, right to the end.”
Cameron Murray was substituted off with a head injury after half time. Stock said Murray suffered from concussion and expects him to be out for a week.
Stock was proud of the Terras supporters. The Terras boss said “They stuck with the team, which is really important to us, and after the final whistle were still with us.
