The Terras will be looking to secure a second successive win as they travel to Hampshire to face Aldershot Town FC.

The Terras performed one of the shocks of the season on Saturday, beating then 2nd place Hartlepool United and keeping a clean sheet in the process.

Aldershot have won their last three games on the bounce, their most recent, a 4-3 thriller against Wealdstone. The shots sit 9th in the league and are looking at promotion this season as a real target. The side boasts the likes of former Leeds United Captain and Fulham striker Ross McCormack. The Scotsman had played 13 times for his country and scored over 50 goals for Leeds United.
The Shots have two other internationals amongst their ranks, Harry Panayiotou has featured 25 times for the Saint Kitts and Nevis whereas Mohamed Bettamer has 2 caps for Libya.

The last time the Terras played the shots in a league game was a 0-0 draw away in the 2007-08 season. The draw ensured the Terras place in the Conference Premier that season. Aldershot were top of the league at the time and were promoted to the football league that season, ending a 16-year spell away from the football league. This is Aldershot’s 6th consecutive season in the fifth tier of English Football.

Thoughts from the manager

When speaking to Echosport Brian Stock emphasised his sides desire to win games. “They don’t want to be cannon fodder for teams. We want to impose ourselves on the rest of the opposition in this league.”
