The Terras are back in action on Tuesday night as they travel north to face Solihull Moors at the earlier kick-off time of 19:00.
Brian Stock’s side have suffered back to back losses in their latest fixtures, losing 2-0 to promotion-chasing Sutton United on Saturday afternoon. Despite the best efforts of Ethan Ross, the U’s got their first in the 15th minute, with Eastmond nodding in a cross from Harry Beautyman. Donovan Wilson killed the game off just after half time. The striker charged into the area before slotting the ball past Ross.
Solihull Moors have been in mixed form in recent weeks, taking 6 points from their last 5 games. However, they did win their last game, 4-0 to Altrincham. The Moors have an array of players at their squad that can impact a game with their experience. Back in October Solihull Moors secured the signing of Jamie Ward. The former Derby and Nottingham Forest forward has tallied 3 goals so far this season.
They also bolstered their attack in the summer with ex-Aberdeen and Salford City striker Adam Rooney.
The Moors have also seen the rise of Kyle Hudlin this season. The 20-year-old, like Ward, signed back in October and has scored 8 goals this season, leading the charts for the side. The striker will be an aerial threat for the Terras opponents on Tuesday evening, measuring 6”9 in height.
The last time the two sides met was back in February. The result that day was 0-0, with the Terras managing to hold off the Moors attacking threat.
Both sides will be looking for a win as the final games of the season are played out. Weymouth will be looking to regain their form, and Solihull have enough firepower to set up an interesting encounter.
