Long-serving Terras player Calvin Brooks has committed his future to the club by signing an extension with Weymouth Football Club.

Brooks, currently on 302 appearances for the Terras, is the club’s longest-serving player and made his debut in an FA Cup game at Bideford in September 2014.

On announcing the extension, Brian Stock praised Brooks’ consistency, “Calvin brings a lot to the table. He’s a good footballer, he brings consistency and he brings physicality. He knows the club, he’s made over 300 appearances, and that experience can’t be overlooked.

“We know Calv can play anywhere down the right-hand side, however next season I would like to enhance his performances at right-back, which I believe is his best position.

“In my team, both our full-backs will need high energy and we know Calvin brings that. He has been consistent not just for this year but for the last few years.”
