We make the short trip over the Ridgeway on Saturday afternoon as we take on Dorchester Town in a pre-season friendly at the Avenue Stadium (3pm kick-off).

Dorchester Town have provided the following info regarding the match:

They have recommended buying tickets in advance to spare time and avoid queues on the day.

Cash and card sales will be available on the day. If paying by cash, the exact amount is appreciated.

Please ensure you buy the right ticket for the correct end you would like to view the match. Supporters purchasing the wrong tickets will not be given a refund and supporters in the wrong end of the stadium may be asked to leave.

Entering The Avenue

All Weymouth supporters are to enter through turnstiles on the railway side of the stadium only.

Different tickets are required to enter through different turnstiles so please use the correct turnstiles only:

Dorchester Town Supporters

Main Stand ‘Shed’ Turnstile (Advance Tickets ONLY)

Railway Side – Turnstiles 1 & 2 (Pay on the day ONLY)

Weymouth Supporters

Railway Side -Turnstiles 5 & 6

Turnstiles will open no earlier than 2pm.

There is a zero-tolerance policy on alcohol, outside food, bottle caps, cans and pyrotechnics being brought into the stadium.
Stewards may ask to search supporters and any bags being brought into the stadium. We ask that, if asked, supporters are respectful towards the stewards.

Refreshments

The Magpies Suite will be open for the match for home supporters only, with no alcohol being allowed outside.

Due to segregation being in place, away supporters are not allowed access to The Magpies Suite. As a result of this, Dorchester Town have been working closely with Dorchester Cricket Club, who are more than happy to welcome Weymouth supporters into their bar.

Snack bars will be open in both sections of the stadium, with both card and cash payment methods accepted.

Parking

Parking will be available as normal with a £2 charge. This can be via card or exact cash.

Only disabled parking bays will be used around the front of the ground. No supporters are to park around the front of the stadium for the match and instead use the car park on the railway side of the ground.

The stadium car park is likely to fill up quickly and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

For any queries please email: office@dorchestertownfc.co.uk.

Dorchester Town would also like to thank Weymouth stewards for working with us to provide a safe environment for all attending the match.
