Weymouth F.C. Board of Directors can confirm that Chairman Ian White has resigned from his position and as a Director of club with immediate effect. This resignation has been accepted by the Board. The Club can also confirm that Mark Palmer has resigned from the Board of Directors which has also be accepted by the Board.
Considering these resignations, the Board are pleased to announce that following discussions, Simon Etherington will be coming back into the fold to oversee the clubs’ finances. Alongside Simon, we would also like to welcome back Paul Maitland, who will be acting as the club’s CEO during this period of adjustment.
The Club will be holding a fans forum on Monday evening at 7pm, at the Bob Lucas Stadium, to update all fans of the situation and the way forward. In the meantime, we ask the supporters to get behind the team on Saturday and to avoid speculation.
