JORDAN Copp is still highly confident that the Terras will make the play-offs this term but admitted it will be a “massive failure” if Weymouth fall short.
The former Plymouth Argyle youngster and popular figure among the fans at the Bob Lucas Stadium is also hoping to have an impact himself, after being left on the bench in recent weeks.
Copp is set to be part of the Terras’ squad that will travel to Biggleswade Town this afternoon (3pm), and is hoping their clash against the Waders will be a turning point after a hat-trick of defeats in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division.
Speaking about the side’s bid for the top five, he told Echosport: “It would be a massive failure if we don’t reach it, let’s be honest. I don’t think anyone’s shying away from that.
“That’s what we set out to do. We all still think that we can do it and that we will do it.
“I think we still have more than enough to make the play-offs and I think we will, but it’s got to come from us.”

On his individual aims, Copp added: “We have some good games coming up so it’s important to be in and around the team and put your name forward.
“I think I have bided my time enough now and I’m itching to get back and play – hopefully I can have the same impression as I did earlier on in the season.
