Firstly, we would like to confirm that Jamie Wells remains the club’s manager. Jamie was appointed on a two-season agreement, reflecting the board’s belief in his long-term potential and the clear performance improvements achieved during his tenure.
Director of Football Jason Matthews also remains in his position for the upcoming season. Jason and Jamie are already hard at work, alongside the Board of Directors, and offers of re-engagement will be made during May to eligible players.
The club has until 1 June 2026 to finalise its retained list from the current playing squad.
Players receiving an offer will have 28 days to respond by accepting or declining the terms offered. Should a player not respond within that period, they will automatically become a free agent and may begin discussions with other clubs.
The club is entitled to compensation only for out-of-contract players under the age of 24 prior to 30 June 2026, in line with FA regulations.
Players with existing contracts extending into next season are already considered retained. The following players fall into this category:
- Tom Bearwish
- Brooklyn Genesini
- Euan Pollock

The earliest comprehensive squad update is expected after 1 June, once the retained list has been finalised. However, if confirmed news becomes available earlier and we are permitted to publish it, we will do so.
