The club can confirm that Brandon will be departing ahead of the new season.
Brandon has been an outstanding servant to the Terras and, as our leading goalscorer over the past two seasons, his contribution both on and off the pitch cannot be overstated. During his time at the Bob Lucas Stadium, Brandon made 259 appearances and scored an incredible 118 goals in a Weymouth shirt.
Supporters will never forget his unforgettable brace away at Yeovil, along with the many memorable moments and goals he provided in claret and blue.
Director of Football Jason Matthews added:
“Having worked with Goody on and off the pitch over the last five seasons, it’s been an absolute pleasure. Watching him score those goals at Yeovil when I was caretaker manager was an unbelievable night and one I’ll never forget.
Unfortunately, all good things come to an end, but I’d like to wish him every success in the next stage of his football career. This now gives someone else the opportunity to step up and become our talisman.
Thank you, Brandon.”
Everyone at the club would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Brandon for his commitment, professionalism, and goals during his time with the Terras.
Once a Terra, always a Terra. 💜💙⚽️
