Weymouth Football Club is calling on Terras fans to show their support for a young supporter’s fundraising efforts.

Georgie is completing a scooter challenge to raise money to support Weymouth FC in their playoff campaign. Georgie has a rare genetic disorder called EBF3 in which one of the main effects is real issues with balance. Therefore it has been hard for her to learn how to scooter properly and is why this will be quite a challenge for her, but she is determined to do it and help!

Georgie will be completing 14 miles on her scooter, which would be the journey from the Bob Lucas Stadium in Weymouth to the Avenue Stadium in Dorchester and back.

The challenge will start week commencing the 6th July and any money that you can provide will be greatly appreciated, not only by the Football Club but also by Georgie in the effort she is providing to complete this.
