Chairman Ian White added “We are delighted to welcome John on board. His enthusiasm and drive will prove to be a great asset to the club and we look forward to seeing John develop the Club’s Community Activities.

John said, “It is a great pleasure to join one of the most successful boards the club has had in the last 20 years. Although not involved in the club directly over the last few years, I’ve been impressed with the Club’s recent direction.

“I’m looking forward to supporting the board in continuing this momentum going forward. The Club is currently in its rightful place in the National League, however, the board, management, playing staff, volunteers, supporters & community will all need to invest time & energy to ensure we continue on this great journey.

”I feel we can rise to the challenge together “
