We can confirm that Frankie Monk will remain on loan at Hamworthy United, after his loan spell was extended by another month.

Frankie Monk has enjoyed a good spell of form and game time at Dan Cann’s Hammers so far, scoring once and providing one assist, which has prompted both sides to extend his current loan spell.

We have also inserted a 24 hour call back option should we require his immediate return to our squad.

Speaking to Dorset Echo Sport, Bobby Wilkinson said: “I’ve been in constant contact with Dan [Cann], who I know really well. He played for me when I was at Hungerford. He’s looking after him, we’ve heard some good things. He’s just getting used to men’s football.

We’ve put him back out for another month with a 24-hour call-back, so if we need to we can. Really pleased for Frankie to be getting experience and pleased that Dan thinks he’s doing really well. He still has a lot to learn, I’ve been told, but he’s developing and that’s the most important thing for a youngster.”

Keep up the good work Frankie!
