Weymouth FC wishes to place on record its thanks to Groundsman Kevin Banks who has taken the tough decision too step down from his groundsman role due to increased commitments outside of his role with us.
Kev has spent the last 11 years being part of the groundsman team and alongside Paul Valentine have produced a superb playing surface which has been the envy of many.
The groundsman like so many of those involved within our football club work as volunteers and we are and will always be very grateful to each of them for there contributions.
We can confirm that Paul and Tony will be carrying on with the pitch and have recently been joined by Danny Aplin. The pitch is looking in great condition as the off season work continues in preparation for our 1st home friendly on the 20th July.
