Weymouth travel to Shaftesbury Football Club, in The Terras first pre-season game ahead of the 23/24 season. Our hosts have already started their pre-season schedule having already played twice before kick-off (7:45 pm) on Thursday 6th.

Despite being from the same county, there are surprisingly only nine records of the Weymouth first team playing against The Rockies in the history of the two clubs, our most recent meeting was a Dorset senior cup tie in 2013 when a Mark Groves brace and a Matt Groves strike ensured safe passage to the next round. Our only loss along our entire timeline was in 1932 when we fulfilled a Dorset league fixture for our reserves, losing 2-3.
