The Lambs took full advantage of their rivals’ slip and gave themselves breathing space at the top of the Dr Martens Premier Division with a 2:0 home victory over Hinckley United, while second place Worcester lost 1:2 at Newport County.
Third placed Stafford Rangers, however, kept up the pressure with a 4:2 home win over relegation strugglers, Halesowen Town.
Apart from Dover’s victory over local rivals, Folkestone, all the other matches were drawn or postponed.
This leaves the Terras still in a strong position to move out of the bottom four if they can start converting some of these draws into three points.
