WEYMOUTH manager Mark Molesley believes the Terras have their โwork cut outโ against Concord Rangers in the Vanarama National League South tomorrow (3pm).
Rangers have won four of their last five league games to rise into 11th, while Weymouth have consolidated sixth despite a patchy festive period.
Concord were well into the play-off spots earlier in the season, producing some eye-catching results, and Molesley is not fooled by the Canvey Island sideโs mid-table position.
He told Echosport: โItโs another difficult game โ Concord on their day are one of the stronger teams in the league.
โTheyโve been a little bit up and down but when they are up theyโre definitely a very dangerous team.
โWeโve watched a couple of games and had a few reports on them and itโs a tough place to go to.
โSome of their results and performances have proved that they can compete at the very high reaches of this league.
โWeโll have our work cut out and as always weโll have to be at our best to get anything out of the game.โ
In their previous away day, Weymouth travelled to last seasonโs beaten play-off finalists Welling, taking a 3-1 victory.
Molesley feels Weymouth will have to match the standards shown in that contest.
He said: โWeโre going to have to show the same characteristics and determination. Home advantage seems to be quite a big advantage in this league. If we want to stay at the top, weโve got to pick up points on the road.
โThatโs an area for us to strive to improve on.โ
Molesley revealed striker Brett Williams is likely to feature at Concord after the Terras nursed the ex-Aldershot man through a niggling injury.
โHe has been on the bench but in an ideal world he wouldnโt have been,โ Molesley said.
โIt was going to be worst-case scenario if we had to put Brett on. Weโve managed to shy away โ thatโs why he didnโt come on at the weekend.
โWeโre hoping heโs going to be up for selection which will be a big bonus for us. Heโs had quite a stop-start season and is yet to get a run of games.
โWeโre hoping we can get that behind him now and heโs back available for selection, so thatโs positive.
โAlso, Calum Ward is virtually back ready for selection. We can get two back but weโve got a busy physio room at the moment.โ
Calvin Brooks and Andy Robinson (both ankle) remain out along with Cameron Murray (shin and ankle) and Jack Hoey (arm).
