THE last two weeks have summed up the Terrasโ season, according to defender Ashley Wells.
Weymouth lost 3-0 against Slough Town on Tuesday having gone behind after just four minutes, and Wells said it was a night when the team just didnโt click.
He said: โIt wasnโt a good night, we just didnโt get going.
โSometimes you can prepare for one or two having a bad game, but when the whole team does thereโs not much you can do. We couldnโt string a pass together.
โOnce we conceded we panicked and it becomes hard to play when youโre nervous.โ
Wells continued to discuss the season as a whole and says they can now play โwithout fearโ.
He said: โThe last two weeks has been symbolic of our season. We beat someone 6-1 and then we lose to a bottom four team. Away from home we havenโt been great.
โWe know the play-offs is a long shot but now we play with no fear, and maybe that is a blessing in disguise because thereโs no reason to be nervous.โ
