Pitch plan: six smaller playing areas on Saturday for U9 and below; four larger playing areas on Sunday and Monday for U10 upwards. All playing areas are within the stadium pitch.
Session allocations are the working programme. Final pitch dimensions, match slots and rest periods must be checked before entries open.
Proposed session timetable
Morning: registration 8:00am; first games 8:45am; presentations around noon.
Afternoon: registration 12:30pm; first games 1:15pm; presentations around 4:30pm.
Final times will accompany the confirmed fixtures. U7 games will use a festival rotation across the available playing areas; not all six need to be active simultaneously.
MORE TIME ON THE BALL
Football for every age.
U7: 3-a-side, with no goalkeepers, in a festival of short games and rotating opponents. The older groups’ knockout format does not apply to U7.
U8–U9: 5-a-side on the six-pitch layout. U10–U16: proposed 6-a-side on the four-pitch layout, subject to final tournament rules.
For age groups where the competition format is approved, the proposed eight-team structure is two groups of four followed by Cup and Plate semi-finals and finals. This would provide four games per team and five for finalists.
Age-appropriate festival or competition arrangements, match lengths, total playing time, rest periods, squad limits and goal sizes will be confirmed before entries open. Younger age groups will follow the applicable development-football requirements.
